In this workshop, we’ll play with freshly harvested blooms grown on Madie’s organic farm in Bellevue! She will teach you all the tips and tricks to create a stunning yet simple arrangement. At the end of the evening you’ll take home your work of floral art and enjoy the beauty and fruits of your labor.

Please join us for our second Story Slam, Headwaters. This month’s theme is Mayday! Mayday! SOS!

It will be a night of true stories about calling for help, emergencies, and unexpected moments when things went sideways.

Guidelines for story tellers:

• Story must be true and about you

• 5-7 minutes time limit

• Off script (notes okay, no reading)

• Must stay on theme

Come listen, laugh, gasp, and cheer each other on as storytellers take the stage and sent out their own “Mayday”.

Please note that depending on numbers, not all storytellers may get the chance to share.

She weaves together language, heart, and humor in her musical explorations of what it means to be human in all its hilarity and grief. Emily draws inspiration from musicians such as Cat Clyde, John Craigie, Gillian Welch, and Adrianne Lenker with hopes of one day, being as cool as Susan Tedeschi."

We are excited to announce a new Wylde Beet event - Headwaters. It will be a night of live, true storytelling where voices rise at the source (similar to The Moth). This inaugural slam invites storytellers and listeners alike to gather around tales of first steps, fresh starts, origin stories and the sparks that set everything in motion, the theme is Beginnings. Come share a story or simply soak one in and celebrate where it all begins!

‘Tis the season for dried flowers! Madie over at Wild Flora Farms has been saving and drying blooms from her farm just for this moment! Join us at the cafe on March 5th from 6-8pm. Your ticket will include access to all the dried flowers your heart yearns for and one beverage of your choice! Please eat before you arrive or make a dinner plan for after the workshop.
